Step 1: Start the E-Learning Course
Click on START COURSE. Create your own profile and password to access the e-learning curriculum.
Step 2: Complete the E-Learning Chapters 1 - 7
The process of working through each module is extremely simple. You may use the Previous and Next arrows to navigate and/ or return to pages.
This must be redone yearly.
Step 3: Complete the Competency Evaluation
Once you have completed all 7 chapters, you are ready to complete the Competency Evaluation which evaluates your competency. This assessment consists of 14 questions (True / False responses) and should not take longer than 10 minutes.
This test is password protected so please insert the password that was sent in the "Get Started" email, when prompted.
Ensure that your name & surname are correctly completed for certificate purposes.
Step 4: Complete the Health and Safety Legal Liability Self-Assessment
The next part of the process is completing the Health and Safety Legal Liability Self-Assessment. This consists of a number of questions (Yes / No responses) and should not take longer than 20 minutes.

This must be completed quarterly.
Step 5: Download the Department of Employment and Labour Annexure
This document gives you a list of all admin documentation you will need when an inspector walks into your branch.
Make sure you are prepared and ready for them by having a folder with all the documentation at hand.
Step 6: Complete the Inspection Checklist
The last part of the process is completing the Inspection Checklist. This should be done monthly to ensure that your workplace is kept in a safe and healthy condition at all times.

This must be completed monthly.
Step 7: Incident Reporting Module
This module is only completed to record and report an incident that has occurred involving our business activity. This form has decision support and will prompt you what forms need to be filled out, which are hyperlinked when selected.

To be done as soon as practically possible after the incident has occurred.
Step 8: Access the Emergency Response Module.
Giving you access to crucial documents and information in case of an emergency,
as well as access to the International First Cross App.
